🌐 Remote Access Tunneling

To access your SOUND server remotely, you'll need to set up a secure tunnel. We recommend using Cloudflare Tunnel for the best experience.

Why use your own Cloudflare Tunnel?

  • Persistent URL - Your tunnel URL stays the same across restarts
  • Better Performance - Dedicated tunnel optimized for your connection
  • Full Control - Manage your tunnel settings and analytics
  • 100% Free - Cloudflare provides unlimited bandwidth at no cost
  • Custom Domain - Optional: Use your own domain name (e.g., music.yourdomain.com)

Getting Started: Click "Configure Cloudflare" below to set up your free tunnel in just a few minutes. You'll need a free Cloudflare account and an API token.

🔧 Advanced Connection Options

For users who want more control over their remote access setup.

Cloudflare Tunnel (Managed)

Create and manage your own Cloudflare tunnel with your API token. Full control over tunnel configuration.

Tailscale

Zero-config VPN with private mesh network. No port forwarding required, works anywhere.

Note: Advanced options require additional setup and maintenance. We recommend Quick Connect for most users.

Family Sharing

Allow family members to access your SOUND library with their own Streamline accounts. Each person gets their own play history and scrobble settings.

How it works: Send an invite to family members by email. They'll click a link to accept and can then auto-connect from WAVE. Each person has their own play history and scrobble settings.
